Sometimes, we spend so much time and energy just getting through our work week that we fail to take the time to dream, explore and plan the career we want for ourselves. This talk is for women. Women who are business owners. Women who are employees. Women who are looking to find a new direction in their life or their career.

In this talk, we will explore the process of personal strategic planning. Strategic planning is not just a tool for large companies or established businesses. Everyone deserves to have the career and the life they want. There are simple steps that you can follow to begin preparing your own plan - in this talk, we will begin to explore some of these steps together!

Amanda Doucette is proud to live and work in Saskatoon. She is a lawyer by day, but in her off-time, loves to travel, read, cook, and sweat it out in spin class or Pilates. Her career (and life) did not take the path she expected – and she discovered that her annual “business plans” helped to inform and enrich her career path.
